Taare Zameen Par... Every Child Is Special...

I watched this Hindi movie last nite... the full 3 hours, ignoring my father's hints of the 'forum perdana ehwal islam' on the other channel... haven't watched any hindi movie for quite long time.... during shah rukh khan era aka my study time, we used to watched those hindi vcds... sometimes up till 3am and skipped the morning classes..... :)

anyway... i like the way the story being told... about a rebellious young boy who suffers from dyslexia... how he was mistreated by everyone... how he lost his self confident... and how saying "i don't want to'' is much much easier than "i don't know" after all that happened..... and how he was made realized that he was in the same group with great guys of the world.... and the pride afterward....

sometimes, rather that saying i don't know, i used to pretend knowing... for different reasons...
sometimes.... it was just to get the conversation goes on....
sometimes.... it was a way to get a close look of the skeletons in the closets...
but most of the times.... just to show that I was not ignorant....

as time running (to some it may be flying though)... and me being older now... i agree that to just plainly say 'i don't know' is sometimes the best... and in the current environment, knowing less is better i guess...!!!

i cried over the movie last nite... thank goodness it was just my mother and me...
and she cried too...
good job aamir khan... no wonder srk is no longer at the top....
