Another class today... I chose to reach little bit late, since this lecturer normally starts her class a bit later... Only after checking emails (of course only upon arriving the classroom) found the message from her, class will start at 9.00am... arghhhh.... 30 min early instead...!!!
I was reading a book last nite and came across this sentence (more or less)... listening but not hearing, looking but not seeing... And in class right now at this moment the sentence became real.. listening to the lecture, yet not sure of what i'm hearing especially after the 'nasi ayam periuk besar' lunch just now... and a banana sponsored by a classmate...
Is it really hard to actually 'hearing and seeing'? Lucky enough if we can be fully heard during the story sharing session...
Thats what makes reading different then.... You can imagine, you can make your own assumption and you can choose when you want to read... Best thing is, you can re-read if you fail to understand it the first time... and repeat the interesting part as many times as you like...

ReplyDeleteNot applicable to attending class or lecture, I guess. Better listen and see what you are going to be tested or asked in exam.
chan, i learnt in class today... selective seeing and listening is common barriers to communication... so how? want to live happily or want to establish barrier???
