Last evening, I watched 'Back-Up Plan' - the one with Jennifer Lopez in it. It's all about a woman afraid of being left alone especially since she only has an old grandma with her. She decided to get herself pregnant, so that there will still be family later in her future. But then something out of her plan happened.... Okay, enough of the storyline. It is just a common movie plot with a Hollywood happy ending after all. Although I still can't understand the need to have the scene of 'giving birth in the water' in this movie. It made giving birth looks like a very very terrifying, horror, scary etc..... (but others might think differently of course).
Morale of the story is we can just do the planning, from the smallest decision to the most significant one, but of course Allah has His own plan for us.
On the way back home after the movie, listening to the radio, there was a short 'food for thought' session about happiness. Is happiness something that will come later when we get our dreamed job, or when we finally meet 'the one' or when we got the dreamed house? Must we wait to be happy? Or should we just enjoy and happily hold the current moment as it comes along? A friend of mine said he is currently 'happily unhappy'....
Well, the choice is up to us I guess...!!
So, choose wisely yeah..!!! And may happiness always be with us....
